The universal USB driver kit has been updated for Jaguar, joysticks

USB Overdrive for X.2, Alessandro Levi Montalcini's universal USB driver for the Mac,
has been released. This latest rendition of the popular "USB Swiss Army Knife" enables
users to use mice, trackballs and other USB-based input devices that don't ship with
Mac drivers, as well as joysticks and gamepads for the first time.

This new version is specifically for X.2 or higher. Versions for earlier iterations of
X as well as Classic are under development, but no timeline has been offered by Mr
Montalcini.

USB Overdrive is shareware, costs US$20 and can be downloaded here.

In addition to the birth of a bouncing baby Mac utility, the Montalcini family also
welcomes the arrival of "a brand-new Mac OS X user," here.
