Woz Has Left the Building (Yes, Titanium Wireless is That Bad)
By Remy Davison, Insanely Great Mac
February 12th 2003
Do you move house every time your cell phone range just isn't up to scratch?
Wired reports that Woz, Apple's co-founder, is moving out of his house. The reason? A
wireless blackspot.
Reportedly a multimillion dollar house (we assume so, as he's a multimillionaire), Woz
also happens to have an embarrassment of other squats to move into. Like the mansion
down the road he also owns, but doesn't generally use, except for the occasional
Woodstock III party.
No, this isn't really a story to do with the TiBook's wireless deficiencies. Woz can't
get GSM coverage on his cell phone. Thus the move.
A video game arcade, and computer-controlled salt-water swimming pool (what else for
the man who invented the PC?) are features of the soon-to-be-home mansion.
Comment: Sure beats being a middle-manager for HP, hey?
