OS 10.2.4 Slated for Release with XServe RAID
By Remy Davison, Insanely Great Mac
February 12th 2003
Long-awaited dot-point update looks like it's being held over until new XServes are
ready to go.
MacBidouille's sharp-eyed readers clearly read every word of Apple's press releases.
One spotted a bit of small print attached to the PR for Apple's XServe, which is due
to ship in 6-8 weeks:
"System Requirements: The Apple Fibre Channel PCI card requires Mac OS X, v10.2.4 or
Mac OS X Server, v10.2.4. Upgrade your Power Mac G4, Macintosh Server G4, or Xserve to
v10.2.4 via automatic Software Update (located in the Systems Preferences panel)."
That's from the AppleStore. Sounds like confirmation to us.
Now that PB-12 Mini-Me is now shipping, can any PowerBook owner/drivers confirm that
it's running 10.2.4? Or simply a later build of 10.2.3?
