The iTunes Alternative: MacMP3CD
By Remy Davison, Insanely Great Mac
February 14th 2003

Browse. Mix. Burn.

Lost an MP3 CD? Mireth Technology's MacMP3CD for OS X lets you recreate MP3 CD track
lists and burn a new copy.

MacMP3CD supports burn lists, allowing you to keep complete lists of all the MP3 CDs
you've burnt. You can also burn folders (say, an album) to MP3 CDs for easy navigation
of songs or albums. A number of recent MP3 players support the folder feature. The app
can also navigate all hard drive folders when searching for MP3s, even on multi-user
Macs.

MacMP3CD's burn engine also supports erasing and burning to CDRW. Included with the
application is a built-in MP3 player, which supports auto-play and auto-eject whenever
an MP3 CD is inserted in your Mac.

A free demo is available of MacMP3CD. It requires a G3 or G4 CPU and OS X 10.2.3 or
later.
