CeBIT: NewTech ships Dragon CD, DVD

A new competitor enters the disk burning market with a Classic, X-compatible app

NewTech Infosystems has introduced DragonBurn 1.0 CD and DVD mastering software at
CeBIT, the world's largest IT trade show which opened today in Hannover, Germany.

(One of the most exciting and utterly exhausting assignments any IT editor can get is
covering CeBIT. The Hannover Messe, the site of the show, has nearly 30 exhibition
halls, thousands of exhibiting companies and millions of people to contend with during
the show's one-week run.)

This Classic and OS X (in development) application produces audio, video and data CDs
and DVDs. Users can burn multiple disks, CDs and DVDs, at the same, and is compatible
with the latest iteration of Apple's SuperDrive (4X DVDR) as well as up to 52X CD-R
and 24X CD-RW drives. Moreover, DragonBurn supports burning via drives connected via
USB 2.0 (anon) and FireWire.

DragonBurn supports "BurnProof" and other buffer-under run protection technologies
(how many drink coasters have you made because of buffer under runs?).

DragonBurn sells $49.95 (SRP) direct from NewTech. Currently, the company isn't
offering this product for sale through retailers. A demo (Classic only) can be
downloaded after filling out this form.
