OWC announces FasterMac.net

Nationwide, 56K dial-up service for $9.92 per month
Other World Computing has announced its latest venture, FasterMac.net. This service
advertises 56K dial-up anywhere in the US.
The terms of service aren't too shabby with up to 150 hours of connection time per
month along with five e-mail addresses and 5MB of 'free' web space (for a homepage or
online storage).
Like many online services, the more one pays in advance, the more one saves. For
example with FasterMac.net, if a subscriber chooses to pay monthly, the rate is $12.95
per month. However, the quarterly rate (ie three months at a time) yields an average
monthly charge of $11.99 ($35.97). The annual charge plan ($119 in one go) yields an
average monthly charge rate of just $9.92.

Editor's note: I typed in Warren, PA (814 area code, ie the middle of nowhere) for my
home town and was surprised to find that there is a local number. Is there service in
