This collaboration, community server suite features dozens of new, improved features
and a new 'free' lite version
Web Crossing has announced the release of its namesake application, Web Crossing 5.0.
of it's popular collaboration server software, adding support for Themes, built-in FTP
and web publishing, a breakthrough WebFiles concept, and a new free core server
version called Web Crossing Express.
New features include:
... Server plugins for Instant Extensibility;
... New plugin architecture;
... Instant software updates;
... New web publishing and FTP service; and
... File system mirroring.
As noted above, those with the skills and time can develop using the Web Crossing
Express core without cost. Pricing information for all other versions is available
