To rehash my experience with this: I too have a new glossy 27" iMac and a window behind me and I simply can't see the screen for all the glare. So I ordered one of those matte films ($50 from RadTech). I applied the matte film on my iMac. Took 1/2 hour to do. The results? Excellent! It's close, but not exactly like the glass itself being matte, just a very slight dispersion/loss of clarity, barely detectable. All in all, definitely worth the $50, especially considering I'd pay an additional $100 if this was a BTO option. Already my eyes have relaxed just looking at the screen. _______________________________________________ MacOSX-talk mailing list [email protected] http://www.omnigroup.com/mailman/listinfo/macosx-talk
