These are the things that aren't done, according to my reading of that
document and perusing the psync source:

    - blessing the appropriate system folders.  It looks like the "bless"
command can tell you what's currently blessed, so this probably wouldn't be
difficult to replicate when doing the backup.

    - unlocking files if necessary before copying (although I've never found
this to be a problem)

    - *not* backing up a few directories that are recreated by OSX on
bootup; psync does ignore a few, but is still doing (all relative to /):

        Volumes/
        Network/
        etc/ (!)
        cores
        automount/
        .vol/
        mach
        mach.sym
        Cleanup At Startup/
        File Transfer Folder/
        Trash/

None of these are, I believe, serious.  (Although I'll admit that not
re-blessing has caused me a couple of headaches.)
