I removed the type cast from the #define of gMacPerl_OSErr, Carbon.h line 89, so that it reads:
#define gMacPerl_OSErr errno
Builds and passes all self-tests with GCC 4.
*However*, there's a note at the top of Carbon.h mentioning that type cast, so I assume you had a good reason for adding it in the first place...
