Does gimp start and work for you? do you use X11 or quartz variant?
However, the list of unresolved items remains large, and the p311 updates
(combined with the unresolved discrepancies between the most recent icu update,
and the inability to update Qt58) breaks other installed ports. I am forced to
write some scripts in order to activate/inactivate dependencies in order to
switch between using those ports and those that need the most recent icu. I
can't think of a better way of doing it.
Recent ICU has a breakage beyond macports, e.g. it broke ArcticFox,
apparently >= 76 break things compared to <= 74...
I have not yet gone through all of the logs - and cross referenced them to
tickets, but I already know there are a few that have been open for a while
(un-assigned).
well.. best is to work one after the other!
Although in case of Qt58 it might be checked if it is a decently slvable
issue or you might want - temporarily - to overlay an older version and
see if that is the only major blocker!
