Yes, it starts and works now. I am using quartz. I haven't fully tested it

Excellent
Recent ICU has a breakage beyond macports, e.g. it broke ArcticFox,
apparently >= 76 break things compared to <= 74...
Unfortunately, ICU touches quite a few things. I am getting libxml2 errors in
my system log for the same reason. My mail will not work, I have a clip board
editor that is non-functional (when the earlier version is active), and I see
that bsdtar has issues as well. Unfortunately I did not retain all of the
previously installed items that are affected by this. So, even if I have some
bash scripts to activate/inactivate known items (for use with claws-mail, meld,
KeePassXC, etc.), I am sure that there are other - unknown things that will
break that I am not prepared for.
did you try running "port rev-upgrade" manually?
It is run automatically if everything completes, but if upgrade breaks,
this can help! Maybe it fixes some packages... and maybe you can cycle.
Or you could (temporarily) uninstall some packages which do not work
anyway, e.g. all qt related ports and qt. Gent a consistent system and
re-add carefully.
