Hello, You can also do a restore from the install DVD by launching the dvd as if you were going to install the whole system. However, after you get VO running and you've answered the language questions. On the next screen go to the system utilities submenu and pick restore. You will then be guided through the different items to set. The last one is what time and date to use. Just arrow up or down through the table till you have the one you want. For example, the time machine restore just before the framework you don't want was installed. Then just do the restore and away you go. It will be as if you never had the problem.
