Hi May, No, the iMac is a desktop...well, sort of. It's actually quite cool...there's no tower. Everything is built into the monitor, so all you get is the monitor and keyboard. The CD/DVD drive, CPU, sound and video cards, RAM is all built into the monitor. A friend has one...she's not visually impaired though, and it's really nice.
