Yes! That does work. Some times the solution is too obvious. Especially if I try to read the help files.
Adding them manually looks tricky though.. But he said that he did it so I guess it can be done. ----- Original Message ----- From: Chris Blouch To: macvisionaries@googlegroups.com Sent: Monday, July 27, 2009 3:53 PM Subject: Re: Modifying items on the top sites menu Hmm. Not sure about a top sites bar but if I go to the bookmarks bar and click the Top Sites button then navigate to the main page area and interact with it I can navigate to the end and find an Edit button. If I do that I can then go back to the various top sites and hit delete to remove a page. Is that what you were trying to do? CB Barry Hadder wrote: We are talking about the "top sites" bar. Not the book marks bar. You could also choose Show All Bookmarks from the Bookmarks menu (or command option B) and then in the left hand column navigate to Bookmarks Bar and then in the table on the right you can just navigate to the bookmark you don't want and hit delete. Probably a few other ways to do it. CB Barry Hadder wrote: According to the Safari help, there is supposedly an 'x' at the top left corner of the page. You are supposed to click it to delete individual pages. It seems that it is invisible to VO. There are also indications in regards to how recently a page in top sites has been updated that is also unreadable to VO. Looks like something to send feed back about to the Safari teem unless someone else has the answer. They are now listed beautifully as buttons. I cannot for the life of me, figure out how to delete or rename one of these items that are now top sites buttons. Does anybody know how to do this with VoiceOver?
