I happen to be a member of the NFB. However, when I read that horrible article that was one of several factors that made me decide to get a Mac and attempt to learn it. I knew the article was incredibly flawed, and I wanted to experience the Mac since so many people whose opinions I respect have said it is a great platform. However, with my inability to send and receive email, the glacial performance I experience on the web, I am thus far not overjoyed with this machine at all. If I had known, for example, that I would have to spend several hundred dollars more for a monitor to go with my Mac Mini, I would have bought the less expensive Mac Book. One of the reasons I really like the design of the Mac Mini is its tiny footprint. But if I need a monitor well that kind of changes everything.
