Same here, And the update did not work. I ended up going to internet accounts under Preference and deleteing all my email accounts and re logging it in. That fixed the problem.
It was so bad that when I hit reply to this list and make sure the correct email is selected and signature, then I would get a Mail delivery failure on a different email. Went for like this for a week. I even subscribed under a wrong email to a different list! It was a big pot of stinky poo. But after I tried everything and gave up and just deleted all my email accounts and re logged in. Fixed it!
