As for me, I just got an Apple tV box and love it. Best way to bring
one's iTunes library in to one's living room and 7.1 channel system in
my opinion. Sure, a Mac mini would have solved that problem nicely, but
for now, needed a less costly solution and the Apple TV fits that perfectly.
My desk top is actually a 15 inch Mac book Pro which I got in November
of 2009, so, it's kind of getting up there. My iPhone is a gold 128GB
Verizon wireless model.
