I would like to chime in and make a suggestion. In 2005-2008, I was in grad school using Blackboard. I know the 2 online services have merged. The office chat (real time) was not accessible in Blackboard. The solution was to have a fellow student read the real time chats. I was able to respond in the chat, but not continuously tab back and for between the real chat posts and responding to the chats. Just a suggestion.
