No. If you are talking about the Index print application, that has nothing to 
do with creating braille files; it just sends your file to the embosser for 
printing. If you want to turn files to braille, you either have to have another 
program to do that, such as louis or Duxbury (though I think the latter is 
still in Beta on the Mac) or you have to have a file that is already in 
braille, or you have to use the latest firmware on an Index braille embosser 
which provides louis as an option. In fact, even if you are using the latest 
firmware and Louis, when you want to do a braille file you go back to using the 
Index print application because that prints directly without changing the 
format while Louis with the new firmware update assumes the file being 
presented is for changing to whatever language and type you have chosen. Well, 
"assume" would seem to denote intelligent choice - lol! That's just the way 
it's designed to work!

instructions indicate that a Braille printer is involved.  But is it possible
