hello you could try putting a cocktail stick gently in the headphone socket and see if the little pin as got stuck which can happen or use compressed air and give it good squirt to see if that will free it that was what I was told to do but my socket is fried and I need a new logic board also I have no start up chime so that might be related to a wonky socket hope this helps
