Hi,
Actually, there's another Spotify client called Blindspot.

The only way so far guys, for Spotify to run on the desktop is if you have
the premium subscription and can use the connect menu. You choose your
computer from the list and it sends all control to the Mac or Pc app.
However, if you perform searches or playlist stuff, you have to interface
it through the app but you can stream it through the computer
independently through their connect menu. Hope this helps and possibly
clears some things up. Take care and talk to you soon. PS, I used it for a
while but ended up going back to iTunes Radio because I don’t have to work
at it so hard to get what I want out of it, just a little tweaking here
and there and I can get all I want and more, plus I can interface it from
anything I use from the apple Tv, to my mac, iPhone and iPad. Thanks and
take care. Talk to you soon.

I would also be interested to know if others have had success with
desktop clients. I have used the web player but I can’t get VO to
consistently read the different parts of the page when I want to search
for new music etc.
I currently use the IOS app.
Thanks,
Greg

I tried a few desk top players for Spotify, but didn't have any luck.
The only way I can use it is through the iOS app.
Wish I had better news.

I’m curious as to what folks use here for spotify? I’ve looked at a
couple things here most of which are linux based clients i’ve played
with in my vm. I also looked at the spotify web player, but dont really
like that either as the buttons or rather a lot of buttons aren’t
labeled properly in the flash player. Any thoughts?
