YOu are confusing the issue big time. What ever audio input you set up on Facetime for your Mac, (in the video section is where it is.), Facetime will pick it up and your voice will be heard. Call recorder for Facetime is, in my experience, the best way to record Facetime calls. There is no iPhone version nor will there likely be one. It's got to do with some kind of code issue.
