Hi,

You must use the proper FaceBook Jabber username.  This is different than your 
regular FaceBook login.  this Jabber username usually does something with your 
name and adds a number to it.  So, for example, mine may turn out to 
Tim.Kilburn.5 even though I login to FaceBook with an eMail address.  If you’ve 
linked your FaceBook account with the other sharing features on your Mac, 
you’ll see that FaceBook Jabber info in your Contacts card in the Contacts app 
right by the IM field.  Twitter and other linked social media accounts are also 
shown there.  All set up and it works fine for me.
