Shawn,
I don't know about your Time Machine question, sorry, but that said, let me
assure you something with your phone. I have an AT&T space grey 128GB
IPhone 6S that I just got last Thursday as an early BD gift. I am syncing
it with my mac mini which is my audio production machine. That machine is
still on Yosemite 10.10.5, the official build, and it is working perfectly
with ITunes 12.3. So on that note, yes. You'll be fine. I'm running I O S
9, and it's fine.
Chris.

Subject: Thinking of Falling Back To Yosemite
Hi guys. Well, I think you'll be shocked to hear this, so grab a chair
because you may faint after hearing this. Normally, I'm the type of person
that's against going back to a previous operating system, but in this case,
I'm gonna have to change my tune. Just recently I was in Safari searching
for something and when I clicked on the site that had what I wanted,
Voiceover was pretty much unusable. It kept saying busy busy busy and it was
bad enough to the point where my Mac's fan went pretty much high speed. And
yes, I know I'm using 10.11.1 beta 4, but I've heard people say they had a
bug similar to this in 10.11.0 so this is nothing new so don't shoot me. The
point I'm trying to get across is if El Capitan is gonna kill my Mac like
this, I think I'll go back to Yosemite until I hear reports that it's fixed
in a later version. However, I have a few questions though. First one is
about time machine. If someone makes a backup in El Capitan, does that mean
they can't use it in Yosemite if the person decides to downgrade? Second,
will this effect my ability to do stuff with my iPhone because it has iOS 9?
I look forward to hearing what you guys say. Thanks in advance.
Shawn
