If you can access the table of contents, I believe you must choose the page
from the TOC in El Capitan. But, I forget how you get to the reading area.
Before I went back to Yosemite, if I remember correctly, it would always skip
back to a previous page where I had a book mark set.

HTH.

Subject: ibooks is driving me crazy

Hi,

I don't seem to be able to work out anything in ibooks under El Capitan.

I can't open any menus, I can't find preferences, I don't seem to be able to
read books or change pages in a book, please help! This is desperate. I feel
so helpless. Ibooks gets busy very often when I land on the reading area which
it doesn't report anyway. How do I go from page to page if I want to skip
pages, or chapter to chapter?

Many thanks, in frustration

Andrew
