Perhaps this might be helpful.  It's clear that Chris and I like to write 
detailed posts:  but, it's equally clear not everone likes to read them.  So, 
here's a thought.  Perhaps we who love to write detailed posts should put what 
questions we may have right up front with the details below.  This way, someone 
who is not inclined to read detailed posts doesn't need to bother with the 
detail:  while, on the other hand, those who need or wish to have the detail 
can read further down should they whish or need to do so.  This goes not just 
for Chris but for me also:  since, you see, I tend to be somewhat the same way.
