Finally I am working to get away from Thunderbird under Windows and use Apple's Mail. But years of TB is making it difficult for me to learn a new Mail application.

Because of the recent threads here, I unchecked Classic view. What I need to work out is how to manage 4 email accounts, one of which is strictly for email lists. In TB I would leave that one expanded and browse the mailboxes under that account. I may have toggled something off because now I do hear which account I am looking at when on the mailbox table.

I never used the unified folders in TB and thus I want to solve this. Then I can move on to learning to work in the Messages table. I have collected notes from this list and from Applevis, much of which has been helpful. Thanks.
