Hi, I bought a pair of the After Shocks, while the sound isn’t bad, its not exactly great either. I suppose the one thing I like about them is they don’t sit on the ear so you can hear other things going on around you and if its hot you don’t have the cups right on your ears. On the other hand, that same thing not being on/over the ears lets you hear background noise when listening, say to an audio book. If the contact of the headphone piece isn’t situated just so on the bone of your face it can also impact the sound and ability to hear. They are light weight and travel nicely..
The other thing about the After Shocks headphones that I really dislike is having to charge them up to use them. And there is not a way to know how much charge is left. The headphones I really love are my Bose over-head noise cancelling. Sound quality is fantastic and blocks out a lot of background noise. On the negative side they are larger and difficult if your traveling and trying to keep things light. There is a higher price tag associated with them, but Bose is great quality. HTH.
