A jawbone might not be a bad option because it doesn’t obscure your 
environmental sounds that badly and it’s got a pretty focused audio 
distribution pattern so you can jack up the audio and still get outside sounds 
mixed in if you’re good at multitasking audio.  Might not work but just a 
thought.
