I myself personally is quite a neat freak and like to keep my products clean. When it comes down to cleaning iPhone screen, unless you have screen protectors please do not apply water to clean the screen. If it’s simply a dust you might want to apply a little bit of water but keep in mind that Apple’s touch screens have oilofobic coating which prevents fingerprint oils to be smudged all over the screen. I personally prefer using the soft microfiber cleaning cloth and it seem to work really well. Just remember, you can use any cleaning solutions but make sure you don’t apply as much water as possible to keep the nice oliofobic coating. The more water being applied to a screen, the coating will begin to wear off and diminish.
