Actually, I’ve also read the components in the apple bricks aren’t that 
inexpensive and the margins aren’t that out of whack but I like you have also 
heard they are of very good quality.  The capacitors if memory serves were of 
especially good quality and effort was made to have the bricks have very 
neutral impact to the audio quality unlike the cheap bricks that hum and pop 
all over the place.
