Sharon,
Ok. You need to enter your name as its set on your user account and the password you used for that account. Since you can do it with the help of a friend, I would enlist that help again.

You may want to change the login options laterr so its easier. I have only my own account, the guest account is disabled so I need only enter the password and I am logged in.

Okay guys, my bad. What it boils down to is that I'm trying to unlock my Mac
Air OS 10, and I thought I needed to do this by connecting to the Apple server.
At any rate, I couldn't seem to get past the login screen, and yes, Voiceover
is on to read this. Maybe I'll just have to fiddle with it again using your
suggestions.

Thank you all for putting up with my bungled mind.

Let's try this again. Exactly what are you trying to connect to?

When I type in my password and apple id if it's there and select next,
I've either get "There was an error connecting to Apple", or incorrect

Apple.

Sorry I wasn't completely clear.

Thanks,

Hi,

I'm frustrated when I try to sign into my Mac Book Air with OS 10,

I can't get through, but my sighted assistant is able to do so! Does
anyone know why, and how I can get around like he does? I would
really appreciate any input.

Thanks,
