Hi Sharron

I'll take a stab e in the dark and ask if you had the option for your apple id
to unlock your computer if needed, when you set the machine up?

So if you did do this then you will need to use your apple id / itunes account
to unlock your computer / log in to it.
Are you sure your using the correct apple id and associated password to open
the machine?

Check your password with another device if you have one, so you know that both
apple id and password are correct.

Also, can you work yourself around the log in screan and see what else is there
in the way of prompts or options?

Hope this helps for you.

Subject: Re: Me vs sighted help signing in

When I type in my password and apple id if it's there and select next, I've
either get "There was an error connecting to Apple", or incorrect entry.
Somehow, my friend is able to get past the error connecting to Apple.

Sorry I wasn't completely clear.

Thanks,

Sharon H.
