I'm just wondering if further changes wouldn't be a miss, Now they are most likely getting rid of the headphone jack, now all headphone manufacturers use this as a universal connection type, unless of course they are Bluetooth headphones
What if all audio device manufacturers started using USB C as their connection type, and also USB c as the charging / power connector for your devices. Apple are using USB C as the power connection for the 12 inch mac book and of course this also does everything else through adapters, If the world finally started working together to have a single universal connector for power audio and other required services even through adapters then wouldn't we all be better off? Hell I don't care what connection the iPhone 7 has so long as I can connect a good set of headphones to listen to music and not drain the battery.
