Hi, Had some hands on with this Mac recently. The keyboard is definitely odd to my touch. Granted, it’s probably something you will get used to over time. The processor in the MacBook is underpowered and I personally see no reason why a blind person would want it. The air is a far better value. You are not paying for a retina screen in the Air, so it is a good value, in my opinion.
I could never recommend the MacBook as a primary computer, but it would be a nice model as a secondary computer for travel and meetings. However, for primary usages, stick to the Air or Pro line.
