Even if they do find a way to make it accessible, I'm still within my right
to dislike it, which I will probably end up doing. Not to mention, if you
follow any Apple new site, every single one is reporting not only that this
new machine will supposedly have the touch bar, they will be replacing the
USB ports with all USB type seaports, which is another annoying issue and in
itself.

Who would have thought that would take off!
Lets not judge it until we see it, apple have been pretty good with
accessibility so far, they may have thought of something that as yet we
haven't and besides, it's still a few days away before its announced.

I’m sorry, but I don’t see this one a something I’ll change my tune about.
If the rumors are indeed true, each key will have no tactile boundary for
a visually impaired person to be able to distinguish from, thus making the
touch bar a complete accessibility nightmare, unless they re-engineer OS X
or whatever they’re going to call it next, so that the bar has some type
of voiceover support built in.

Hi there,
Rumor has it that the soon forth coming Mac book pros will feature a
touch bar instead of function keys on the keyboard. This raises an
interesting question. Assuming that Voice Over is turned off on any
one of the new Mac book Pros that a blind user goes up to, how is a
blind person supposed to turn on Voice Over if there are no physical
function keys but instead a touch bar? I think maybe I can guess. If
a blind person needs to turn on Voice OVer, it should be possible by
pressing VO+touch anyware on the bar and that should do it. Or else,
triple tap the bar to turn Voice OVer on. I can almost imagine the
e-mails now.
