Alex, well stated.  The right tool for the job and all that.

Some are forced in to a  platform as well because that industry has adopted it 
exclusively.  Insurance is one that is almost exclusively windows.  One may 
have no choice but to work in a windows environment.

As in most things there are more than one way to accomplish a given task.

I think one thing that’s real important here is isn’t it great we have a 
choice?  By we I mean the blind community.  It wasn't that long ago we had only 
one choice or even no choice.  Now there are viable options on most major 
platforms and all different price points.  If anything, that should enable our 
community even more.  More access for more people is a great thing no matter 
the platform!
