I am now waiting for the wireless charging and I won't get another phone until 
the 8 comes out so that hopefully the charging is rock solid.

Anyway, looking at this question another way as I posed the question, what can 
Apple do to make people buy the phone once the wireless charge has been added.  
The phones have not changed much even though the hardware inside have been 
improved.  If once the charge has been added, I wonder what will happen next.
