There is no USB support for the iDevices.

I have seen the truth and it makes no sense.

Before I go too far into this message, I want to save any confusion. I
know I said this in my subject, but let me reidderate: this is in
regards to iOS, *not!* OSX.

So, I'm not sure if this would actually work, but I figured that I'd
ask. How extensive is iOS's USB support? By this what I mean in relation
to braille is, let's say I was to buy a female USB to lightning adapter.
I know for a fact that Apple sells them. Could I, then, in theory, take
my Pac Mate Omni BX 20's braille display, plug it via USB into the
adapter, then put that adapter into the lightning port of my iPhone, or
iPad, and expect it to allow me to go into Voiceover settings/Braille,
and get my display to work? I just got off the phone with Apple before
sending this message, and they told me that was actually a really darn
good question, and to tell me the truth, they really honestly aren't
sure. They said they suspect? it would work? but they just can't be too
sure.

Have any a you guys actually tried this, and if so, diddit work?

Chris.
