The thing is, it did work for the longest time. Now, it prevents me from getting on the internet. Or, it could be the updates through the mac. Who knows. All I know is apparently, VPNs has compatibility issues with the mac. Or, so I have been told by Best buy and the apple support help line. However, PIA works fine with my IPhone 6S plus.
