I also recommend Amazon over Apple. What I usually do is find a sighted person
to explain the band I'm interested in, help me choose a color that goes with my
watch color and, in the sighted person's opinion, suits me, then order it.
They're rarely more than $10 or $15, and with Amazon Prime, I'm not paying
shipping. I've only gotten a few bands so far (a Milanese Loop and a knockoff
of the Nike Sport) but have been very happy with both purchases. Reviews on
Amazon itself, and reviews or articles on other websites, help me narrow down
the one I choose. I also live far from an Apple Store (about 2.5 hours) so I
feel the pain. I'm near a Best Buy, which which has a subset of Apple devices,
but it's not the same. :)
