Hi,

Not sure why it would have deleted the entire line unless the line of text was
highlighted. Normally, on a Mac, when moving from left to right, the cursor
will land just to the right, or after, the last item read. Therefore, if you
pressed the delete key, it would delete the last letter of the last word read.
The problem happens now, if you are just using arrow navigation, then this rule
does not always work. It seems that when using arrow navigation, the cursor
location within the line is remembered, thus just listening to what VO read
doesn't necessarily work. What I've done for now, is use arrow keys until I
get close then use option-arrow to go word by word. This lets the cursor
behaviour work the same as what I'm accustomed to. Someone else may have
something to contribute here, but that's my work around for now. I'd rather
have not needed to work around anything, but I'd like a lot of things that
don't happen.

Later...

I too have the same problems.

What I want to know if I want to delete a word or letter, does the cursor need
to be on top of the letter that you wish to delete? I deleted an entire line
which I didn't want. I felt like throwing my Mac mini across the room.

Kawal.
