yes, the home button being gone is not a big deal, and the gesture is 2nd nature once you do it a few times. Is it the best phone out there, that depends who you talk to, I came from a 8 and got the x for work, just sold the 8, and working on getting rid of my 7, maybe I will just give it to my 12 year old.
