Yeah I gotta admit the 256 gb x I thought was over the top, I had a 128gb 7+ previously
I think really they should have 64 GB 128 and 256gb devices, Or at least 64 & 256. Photos, videos, music and such are the biggest hogs of the iPhone space. If you a 32 Gig iPhone, throw a bunch of apps on it and mostly just use it for texting and phone calls, then you'll be OK, probably even with backups to the free version of iCloud. Start adding off-line music or video downloads, throw in some pictures and videos or live pics, then the space on the iPhone itself will be used up. So, backing up isn't the issue, it's what you store on the device that will likely cause issues first. Later...
