The plot thickens! Audio from JAWS and NVDA also does not work, although music
and computer sounds all play fine.

Anyone who has resolved this sort of situation, any thoughts on what to try are
appreciated.

Kelly

Subject: Re: VMWare Fusion Question or Two

Hi,

A new wrinkle has emerged here. I am curious if anyone else is experiencing
this.

I used an ISO from Windows 10 version 1809 to create my virtual machine. Sound
for the VM in general is working. However, Narrator text to speech does not
seem to work correctly.

I can play music or other audio from the VM and it plays fine. In addition,
when Narrator is running, I hear the sounds Narrator makes just not the speech.

I haven't tried other TTS, such as Eloquence with JAWS yet and am also
following up with Narrator contacts.

Thank you for this information. Also, thank you to others who replied.

This solution fixed at least getting the program launched. I had to going
to privacy and then accessibility and indicate that I wanted to allow VMware to
control my computer. Then when I launched VMware fusion, I had to go allow the
extension.

I am creating my first virtual machine so we'll see how that goes.
Again thank you to everyone who replied here.

Good morning, I might have an idea as to what your problem might be.
Are you running OS X Mojave? Just salute you know if you are running
the current version of VMware, you have to go into system preferences
and make sure that in the privacy and/or security settings that VMware
is permitted to access those resources a.k.a. the extension for VMware
needs to be allowed to run. If the item is not chocked your Mac forbids
the program to be run because did use it as a potential security risk
when it is not. Give that a shot? And I think your problem will
        hopefully go away.

        Sincerely Maurice Mines.
