Hi, It works normally in Mojave as long as you did not inadvertently block it when the security question appeared. Security in Mojave is increased and improved so permission must be given for these sorts of Apple Events to access the Finder or other apps and services. If you deny the request, it will not be requested again. As far as I know, at this point, there is no way to individually re-allow a specific denied request, but you can, using the Terminal, reset all requests so that the question will be asked again. Be careful after entering this command as you'll receive security requests for other Apple Event commands that you've already approved. Always read before approving, but many of these VO shortcuts will need to be re-approved.
• Open Terminal • Enter the following command with upper/lower case as I've entered below: tccutil reset AppleEvents • Press return, then quit the Terminal. When you press right-option-t as you normally would, a security dialog will appear, approve the request and you should be good to go.
