Hi, I don't think I've ever seen Mac apps have the same payment authorization as iOS apps. Take Twitterrific for example, you can purchase the iOS version but the Mac version is still a separate purchase. Same with Fantastical. In the case of that app, there are three purchases; Mac, iOS and iPadOS. It's true however, that many iOS apps will work just the same on iPad but not all.

I hope this makes sense.

Yeah I wondered since with apple id you can have the one app on multiple devices simply because you purchased it on that apple id you can download it from

But then the app store on the phone / pad is different to that on the computer.

Cheers,

Hi,

I don't believe so.  I didn't work that way in the past, but I guess that it might be possible now.  Again, I'm unsure.

If you have pen pro for IOS does that give you the licence to use on Mac OS also?

Hi,

PDFPenPro is also an excellent solution.  It has built-in OCR, both Mac and iOS versions and is very accessible.  The Mac version is extremely accessible.  I'm not sure of the level of accessibility of the iOS version.  The last time I contacted the developers, they admitted that the iOS version needed some accessibility work and I'm not certain if they've addressed any of those problems as of yet.

There are other solutions including KNFB, just not sure of the levels of accessibility of them.

Raoul,

Docuscan Plus, Abbey Fine Reader, or Prizmo. I think that’s it, unless you install VMWare Fusion and set up your Windows programs like Openbook in the operating system.
