Yes, when I hit the spacebar, Voice Dream Reader for Desktop begins to read the book but I can’t locate the text which it is reading and thus I can’t mute voiceover and read by using my refreshable Braille display. I have asked the developer but he doesn’t seem to know as he says he doesn’t have a Braille display. This is a bit of a drawback for me as I like on occasion to read quietly; reading using Braille is a completely different experience for me. I think on an IPhone one can use a Braille display and you can actually touch the text with your finger. On the mac, I can’t find the text being read anywhere.
