I feel quite foolish asking this question, but what options do I select in the
Disk Utility to execute a “ScanDisk-like” routine on my Mac Mini?

I thought I had done so last week, but file access continues to be excessively
sluggish.

I’m thinking that re-arranging the file blocks into contiguous disk space will
improve this issue, but if there’s something I should be considering, please
advise!
